The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will reportedly open its new center in Dubai very soon in order to expand Indian Schools in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The Minister for Human Resource Development, India M.M. Pallam Raju announced this through Skype at a conference of CBSE schools held at the Indian High School in Dubai on Wednesday that the new CBSE centre In Dubai would open up shortly, the Gulf News reported.

Research students in West Bengal will soon be able to avail guidance from scientists and teachers of any university of the state through the 'State-wide University Network' or SUN. "All the universities will be linked up through SUN. If researchers want some help related to their work and they want to approach a specific scientist in the state, then they can do so via SUN," West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) vice-chancellor Amit Banerjee said here Wednesday.

Most of the Indian teachers believe that 'gratitude from students' is the best form of recognition, reveals a recent survey conduct across the country by Pearson, world's leading education company. According to data released by Pearson with the tag name 'Pearson Voice of Teacher Survey', around 76% teachers expressed that they consider 'gratitude from students' as the best form of recognition, even more than financial incentives (60%) or recognition from their management (62%).

Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit stated that admissions in World Class Skill Centre (WCSC) in Delhi would commence from the next month.
