It has recently been restored and renovated to a beautiful standard, keeping in mind the period in which it was built. It showcases many original period features such as the large detailed ceiling roses and open fireplaces in both reception rooms. It also offers a unique ravaged, industrial feel in some parts of the house.

This style home with the grand entrance hallways and the stairs being one of the first visual points just cry out for a carpet stair runner just like this one. I love the strips, and the colours are gorgeous especially against the pale walls and on the real stained wood floor. I also love how the photo gallery runs up the stairs, all of this just makes you want to explore further. Although if it was me I would have maybe thrown in a few coloured frames too.
