O beautiful frog of whom I'm most fond Your wriggling babies are filling my pond. The lettuce I'm bringing for them and their mother Is to stop the young blighters from eating each other. 29th March 2014. [PS Mother frogs, as everyone knows, don't eat lettuce. St David's-tide 2014. My small pond is being filled with frog spawn. So full is it that Mrs Frog has nowhere to hide from a camera. Although her husbands have all disappeared.
