Use toilet paper rolls to start your plants. When ready to plant, stick the whole roll in the ground. The roll will decompose. I've seen this with egg cartons...this would give the seedlings more root space!
"Growing trees from seeds is remarkably easy, and although not all fruit trees produce reliable results if grown from seeds, peaches, nectarines and apricots are exceptions to this rule. Plants have best friends just like people do. Marigolds help tomatoes and roses grow better. Nasturtiums keep bugs away from squash and broccoli. Petunias protect beans from beetles and oregano chases them away from cucumbers. Geraniums keep Japanese beetles away from roses and corn. Chives make carrots sweeter, and basil makes tomatoes even tastier. cool!! - Click image to find more Gardening Pinterest pins
