I masked out my chessboard and used chalk board spray paint.. thank you hobby lobby... 2 coats let dry for 24 hours.. then play =] then I decided I didnt like the sticker effect for the wood so i sanded it down and bought a primer/sealer combo (smokey grey) and hand brushed the entire thing... (best if you pull table apart) and now my living room doesn't feel so dark or cheap lol
