Hi Sue, You should be able to find groundcover Rose Mossy Saxifrage at any good nursery. I was even able to find it at my grocery store's garden centre one spring. This is a plant that has lovely starry flowers in rose or white in spring. After the flowers fade, there is wonderful fern-like foliage. Rose Mossy Saxifrage is supposedly hardy here in Canada, but I find it needs winter protection in my garden.
Baking soda neutralizes the ph in the soil and nothing will grow there. use baking soda around all of the edges of flower beds to keep the grass and weeds from growing into beds. Just sprinkle it onto the soil so that it covers it lightly. Do this twice a year - spring and fall. Awesome!
