this is so true...in the service of others not to be noticed...I have the privilege of knowing some truly amazing people who really actually serve without the possibility of $$ or attention for it. That in and of itself speaks wonders.
There is actually a time for both of these approaches depending on the type of cut and how deep. The difference is if a bandaid or stiches are needed. No matter how strong a person is expected to be, above all you are human. Humans can hurt and make mistakes but sometimes those mistakes may not heal like others. No human ever forgets a scar.
