Allen Dale June (1919 - September 8, 2010) was one of the 29 original Navajo Code Talkers who confounded the Japanese during World War II by transmitting messages in their native language. He was a sergeant in the Marine Corps and served in the Pacific Theater. He joined the Corps when he was 16 telling a recruiter he was older than he was.
