Definitely different than the movie but a decent read. Don't read if you loved the Hollywood of the movie. This lacks some of the "feel good" scenes. Lots of football stuff and plot is secondary.

Sea Glass

Sea Glass: A Novel: Anita Shreve:: Beachy read - good story and characters.

I loved this story. Honestly, I hated the ending, but the journey was worth being disappointed in the end. I'll read it again.

This is a very long book with amazing detail. I kept wondering when something would happen though, and was a little disapointed. The writing is superb.
