In my post 21 Frugal Tips To Try This Year I mentioned that one thing I wanted to work on was the idea of repair/reuse/repurpose. With that in mind, I researched some ways that I could upcycle/repurpose  my daughter’s holey jeans (which are beyond donating them to Goodwill). You could make cute little pencil pouches like these from Papemelroti Here are a few ideas that I think are bit different from what I’m used to seeing. I’ve  seen one or two bloggers make slipcovers for their chairs out…

I posted this tutorial over at Lou Lou Girls a few months ago but I wanted to share it here too!  I am always looking for something to repurpose.  I have to admit I love to tear things apart and turn them into something else.  When I bought this crib I didn’t have any plans in mind, but it is solid wood, I loved the pretty spindles and the price was right!  I brought it home and decided to turn it into a bench!  These bench’s are pretty easy to make as long as you have the right power tools…

These whimsical little elf like creatures were made from some left over wooden fence posts I had on hand. I recently rebuilt a part of my back yard fence and had a leftover wood post. I knew I wanted to do something with it but was not quite sure what I wanted. The end result I think turned out awesome and was a perfect addition to that little part of the yard that had nothing in it. I repurpose everything somehow whether it's making something old new again or using my creativity for some…
