If you are ever in Kyoto, be sure to check out Kodai-ji Temple, which is located at the foot of Kyoto’s Higashi-yama Mountain and in close proximity to Maruyama Koen Park.   This temple was established by Hideyoshi Toyotomi's wife in 1606 after his death.   If you love Japanese gardens and are a fan of Hideyoshi Toyotomi, a visit to Kodai-ji Temple is definitely worth a look!
