The Old High Street in Folkestone on the south east Kent coast. This town holds many dear memories of visits to Auntie Vera and Uncle Bill. They had a lovely bungalow with an ever singing Budgie. In it's day Folkstone has been a quiet fishing village and a booming holiday resort. Today, it's an important transit point to the continent as France is only 24 miles away.

Famed for its gothic abbey, the 199 steps (from which this view is taken), whale bone arches and of course its legendary fish and chips.
