Homemade Kahlua: 1 12-cup pot of very strong coffee, 2 lbs light brown sugar, 4-6 tablespoons vanilla extract, 1 bottle vodka. Bring coffee to a boil in a large pot. Gradually add light brown sugar and return to boil, stirring constantly. Let cool to room temperature. (The pot can be placed in a sink of cold water to speed up the process). When completely cool, add the vanilla and vodka.
