"Chicken Broccoli Casserole" Only 5 ingredients!About 3 C of shredded chicken 16 oz bag of frozen broccoli (cooked) 1 can of cream of mushroom soup 1 C of shredded cheddar cheese Garlic powder and pepper to taste
Broccoli casserole. So simple and yummy. Cook 3 -12oz bags if chopped broccoli. When done,drain water and add 1/2stick if butter/margarine and 1-2cup bag if shredded velvet a cheese and mix till melted. Add salt to taste. Pour in casserole dish. In separate bowl crush 2sleeves of if ritz crackers and mix with3/4 stick of melted butter. Mix together and pour mixture over broccoli. Bake 350 till brown. Enjoy. It's that simple. Creamy Broccoli Casserole - pinner said: LOVED this! I have modified this a bit by adding extra broccoli, some chopped small, some left larger, and an extra cup of cheddar cheese. I also use Town House crackers on top instead of cheese crackers.
Note: next time use less cheese. Broccoli and quinoa casserole. Everything gets mix in the baking dish and baked. Prep time is just 5 minutes. No precooking the quinoa required. Healthy, gluten free and an easy quick meal.
Paula Deen~ Broccoli Casserole **NOTE: Very good! BUT I would double recipe (not the crackers.) and add maybe 2 chopped/bite-sized cooked chicken breasts to the recipe. This would be more of a dinner than just the broccoli.
