Army SPC. Mitchell K. Daehling, 24, of Dalton, Massachusetts. Died May 14, 2013, serving during Operation Enduring Freedom. Assigned to 3rd Battalion, 41st Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, Fort Bliss, Texas. Died in Senjaray, Kandahar Province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his convoy unit with an improvised explosive device.
