Builder's photo showing the interior around the bar and lounge area of SP's Cascade Club, a triple-unit articulated diner and lounge used on the SP's New Cascade service between San Francisco and Portland. Pullman-Standard built the car in 1949. Unit 10283 contained the kitchen and crew dormitory, 10284 was the middle dining section, and 10285 was the lounge. Carefully concealed articulation between the diner and lounge gave the impression of a single long, continuous room.
