The Will Rogers Memorial Center (WRMC) is a multi-purpose complex under 45 acres of roof, spread over 85 acres in the heart of the Fort Worth Cultural District.  The complex is named for American humorist and writer Will Rogers. The coliseum was erected along with the auditorium and Landmark Pioneer Tower in 1936, the year of the Texas Centennial. It  was the first domed structure of its kind in the world.
