It's the "me too" sign.   You know how a student will say something and 15 other hands shoot up because they make a connection? The "me too" sign allows those 15 youngsters to let you and everyone in the room know that they also did whatever the speaker did or that they also like whatever the speaker likes. It's a great way to keep everyone on task, yet it lets them "be heard."

Wow! notebook -- a morale booster! When a staff member receives the notebook, they read the wonderful message that someone wrote for them. They, in turn, write a note to another staff member to encourage, give a boost, or to just say how much they are appreciated. At the bottom of the page they write, "Don't forget to pass it on....."

Win-Win - Be a Bucket Filler NOT a Bucket Emptier (as a teacher - check on Thursday to ensure EVERYONE has at least one in there)

The bucket filler board is a must! The kids can fill a bucket ANY time they want to! Every Friday, they check their buckets to find the kind words others have left for them to read. Also goes along with the book, 'Have You Filled a Bucket Today?

Interactive notebooks- glue an envelope in the back cover for keeping "extras" and a ribbon to be used as a bookmark.  I can unit this for our Unit Study Notebooks.

For math or science notebooking: Small envelope inside cover: For when they have small pieces of things they are working on but are not ready to glue in their journals yet!
