There is a naturalness to Tracy Cox's compositions that remind me of a great film--the kind of movie that transports us into a reality believable and true. Is it the way she tucks in the fork that makes me convinced I am there enjoying the meal? What is it that gives some works a special quality? Some say it is our own experiences we bring when seeing that meshes with a work to create an "experience". I often see less artifice in Cox's images, and am then smitten.
