A Chippendale fretwork tea/silver table in mahogany. Featured in "Masterpiece of Queen Anne & Georgian Furniture" my F. Lewis Hinckley, pg. 85, pl. 134. This exuberant example displays a fretwork laminated gallery with figural top over a mirror image frieze with blind fretwork. The legs are fretworked as well with carved edges & joined by an undulating cross stretcher with piercing as well. English or Irish, circa 1770. L: 34.5" D: 23.25" H: 29.5"   G. A fine quality George II period walnut veneered Tallboy, having moulded cornice enclosing secret drawer above various herringbone inlaid and crossbanded drawers. The piece, having concealed brushing slide to the waste moulding, crossbanded sides and fluted canted corners supported on ogee bracket feet. Circa: 1740 Ref: 5645
