David Thomas "Davy" Jones (30 December 1945 – 29 February 2012) was an English recording artist, actor,  businessman, best known as a member of the musical group The Monkees and star of the TV series of the same name. His acting credits include a Tony-nominated role as the Artful Dodger in Oliver! as well as a role in The Brady Bunch film. "People always expect you to be jumping out of a Rolls Royce and being in the papers for drunk and disorderly or sleeping around."
