To continue counting down to Strummin' on the Porch (on August 28TH at Rhodes Hall), here is another famous porch: This historic porch is Warren G. Harding's home porch in Marion, Ohio! Warren G. Harding, the 29th President of the United States, ran a significant ‘Front Porch Campaign’. While his Democratic opponent James M. Cox was crisscrossing the country at great expense, Harding gave many speeches from the front porch of his house!

The Kent State Massacre - A video history of the events that ended that fateful day May 4, 1970 at Kent State University in Ohio with the taking of the lives of four unarmed students.
