This fabulous snake ring is from the Art Nouveau (ca1910) era and is simply marvelous. Coiling around ones finger, the snake's body is made of 9kt rose gold and represents the mounting as well as the band of the ring. The head of the snake is decorated with a single cabochon opal which is oval in shape and two rubies represent its eyes. It has stunning detail and textured, scale-like etching throughout. Of English origin, the shank has several hallmarks including a crown and "375".
