FRENCH LINE; Didier Gomez. An armchair that occupies little space, that is ideal for city apartment dwellers. Its lightness, and its discrete almost 50's charm, make French line an armchair that can be used in most rooms in the house.
'Luca Soft' range was designed as part of the Radisson Hotel Nantes project, in which the town's former Palais de Justice was transformed into a luxury hotel. To equip the restaurant, Jean-Philippe Nuel wanted a seat which retained the qualities of his Luca chair whilst bringing more femininity and finesse, along with curved lines to echo the layout of the bedrooms. Luca Soft, is a range of seating - armchairs and bridges - which offers great comfort and elegance.
VOLTIGE. Didier Gomez revisits the wing chair, gesturing towards a kind of contemporary archetype. From the wing chair, first seen around 1720, he retains the padded back, the cushioned seat and the low set-back armrests; which are bent into a concave curve, bring a note of softness which contrasts with the taut lines of the structure & cushion. The folded steel feet succeed in ‘twisting’ the reinterpretation, which is brought to full completion by the use of contemporary covering materials
