Candles are a very minimal however soothing source of light. Although I am not a big fan personally of candles, they can add a touch of elegance into a space like a bedroom for example. And with an organic shape and colour like these sea shells, it's also calming and warm
Seashell Candles~ Clean shells and let dry. Melt small chunks of a paraffin block or old candle stubs in the top of a double boiler. Cover the work surface with plastic or newspaper. Slowly and carefully pour melted wax into shells. Quickly put a wick in the center of the wax. Let cool about 30 minutes.
This inexpensive DIY floating candles with fern leaves is a very neutral piece to go with any home decor. Buy 3 different sized clear cylinder vases, a bag of white/tan rocks (or just pick some up outside), 3 fern leaves, 3 flat round candles in either a light green or tan color, lastly fill with water! All these items can either be bought at Michaels, JoAnne’s or Hobby Lobby and don’t forget your coupons ladies :)
The colors are very important. Enjoy the colors we have to relax. I colori della propria casa, di un bacio, di un fiore, di un abbraccio, della neve, del mare, del profumo del caffè, di una luce, dell'amore.
