I like the idea of using a tension rod between the two shelves for a curtain to create a stage for puppet shows or talent performances or hide things before company comes over!  Plus I'm pretty sure everything here is from IKEA!

i think i like a full wall or half wall that the bottom touches the bottom and top half is not chalkboard versus a framed one. another note is since this was a dining room, i would hope to try to keep it open as that (as a selling point in the future).
