Last night, 31 local executives, community leaders and celebrities slept outside in solidarity with the hundreds of young people who call Va.

On May, 5th 2016 an amazing group of mothers will be spending one night sleeping on the street. But it’s not about pretending to be homeless. It’s about showing a group of young people that they are worthy of unconditional love and absolute respect, and proving that we care enough about them to be uncomfortable for one night; to be vulnerable so they can be safe. On Saturday November 9th Blank-Fest Vancouver is happening at The Railway Club! Doors are at 7:30pm, 19+, admission is a blanket, clothing and/or cash donation. Come out and support a great cause with all proceeds going to Covenant House Vancouver.

We are so excited to share that Covenant House Vancouver has been selected as the ‘Caps Community Partner for the March 29th home game against Houston!    Come visit our staff and volunteers in Terry Fox Plaza from 2:30 until 4:00 for games, and enter to win one of 4 great prizes from our raffle! Our 5th Annual Sleep Out: Executive Edition will be held on November 17th! Across Canada and the U.S., dedicated executives will be sleeping out to raise critical funds and awareness for homeless youth. With only a sleeping bag and a piece of cardboard, participants will get a small glimpse of what it’s like to “sleep” on the street. “Sleepers” will also interact with some of our youth currently staying with us and those who have stayed with us in the past.
