Did you know you can put raw meat in a marinade and freeze it? When you are ready to use it, let it thaw in the refrigerator overnight and you have a meal ready to be cooked. I split the 6 pounds of chicken tenderloins into 3 large zip top freezer bags. I poured the marinade over the chicken and sealed the bags, squeezing out any air in the bag.
dice/ chop many fresh fruits and vegetables and freeze them on a cookie sheet. The next day, I break them up and transfer them to a large ziplock freezer bag. At that point, I have a large quantity of individually frozen veggies I can use as needed. I regularly do this for onions, bell peppers, berries, and apples.
