From April 10th to May 14th, 2003, I covered the invasion of Iraq as a freelance photojournalist. Most of my coverage was centered in Baghdad, though I did visit the country extensively, including Basra, Kirkuk, Arbil, Tikrit and Mosul. I also spent several weeks, in 1991, covering the Gulf War. The end result of my coverage was the book "Iraq: Eyewitness To War, A Photojournalist's Diary" (Galbraith 2004). It has over 600 colour photographs and 100,000 words of text.
