Developing Fine Motor Skills

Taking the time to build fine motor skills is just as important as teaching your Littles letter names and sounds, numbers, counting, etc.

This can be used at the writing center, or in small groups. They can be laminated and used with dry erase markers, playdoh, or fingers. They can also be run off as black and white copies for extra practice. Enjoy!

How to help kids who have a hard time holding a pencil correctly? Jean says to put a rubber band around the wrist and then put it around the pen or pencil. She said that Silly Bands would actually be better than rubber bands.
