King Eider

King Eider is one of the larger members of the eider family. The male bird of this species is a multi-coloured bird, whose forehead enlarges over its bill giving it a spectacular look.

FUEGIAN STEAMER DUCK (Tachyeres pteneres ) -  a flightless duck from South America. It inhabits the rocky coasts and coastal islands in Southern Chile. They feed on larvae and pupae usually found under rocks; aquatic animals, plant material, seeds, small fish, snails, and crabs. This species of duck outweighs any other wild species called “duck”, although this species is only distantly related to most true ducks. It is locally famous for the aggressive disposition of the adult males.

The Fuegian Steamer Duck (Tachyeres pteneres) known also as the Magellanic Flightless Steamer Duck, is a flightless duck located in South America.

Mallards have one of the most extensive breeding ranges of any duck in North America, extending across the northern third of the United States and up to the Bering Sea.They also have the most extended migration period, which lasts from late summer to early winter. There are feral breeding populations on Bermuda, introduced in 1960, and the Cayman Islands. Mallards winter throughout the United States along the Mississippi Flyway to the Gulf of Mexico.
