Scientists at the University of Kent used pioneering imaging to analyse teeth from medieval children which were found in a cemetery in Canterbury, England to reveal what they ate.

The other side of the knitted cushion from the tomb of the infante Fernando de la Cerda c.1275, in the Abbey of Santa María la Real de Las Huelgas, outside of Burgos, Spain. Probably originally red and yellow. Most likely made by Mudéjar craftsmen. A Mudéjar is a Muslim of Al-Andalus who remained in Iberia after the Reconquista but did not convert to Christianity, unlike Moriscos who had converted.
