Dear Heavenly Father, I bring my husband before you today asking that you would bless him and shape him into the man he was designed to be. Give him strength to lead our family, as Christ led the church with love and humility. Equip him with wisdom to make good decisions that are pleasing to you.
My soul thirsts for you. Psalm 42:2 No matter what season you are in life our inner most being longs for connection with the Lord. Even when everything is perfect and life seems complete we'll always feel as though something is missing. Only the Lord can fill in that missing piece because our souls thirst for Him. #mysoulthirstsforyou
Balloon Game for the story of Samuel "And Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground." 1 Samuel 3:19 Have your students blow up large balloons and write things on the balloons that God tells us to do. Help your children come up with ideas and write them on the board. Use this activity to introduce the Bible lesson about Samuel Listening to God.
Love this. A great way to start out the new year and begin living life. All things happen in Gods time. Let him lead you and your life will never be the same and you will finally find peace. @Rose Pendleton Workman
Isaiah 30:18 "And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.
We need to recognize our need and accept the free gift of a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. By Faith, we accept the gift of Salvation by confessing "Jesus is Lord" and believing in our heart that God raised him from the dead. Romans.10: 9-10
Praying for the courage to dance for the Lord around others. When you really let the Lord in, it is hard to worship him with out tapping your toes, singing loud, clapping, and swaying! There is a time to be still and quiet with the Lord and a time to REJOICE!
