Royalty Postcard Princess Clementine of Belgium was the wife of Victor Napoleon Bonaparte, a pretender to the throne of France.  Clementine herself was a true royal, a daughter of King Leopold II of Belgium and Queen Marie Henriette of Austria.  Clementine was not a beauty and married at the rather late age of 31, "Prince" Victor Napoleon .  They had three children and a happy marriage.

Another Belgian Princess to marry into France, this time Princess Clementine wed Victor, Prince Napoleon, descended from Emeperor Napoleon's youngest brother, Jerome. They wed on 14 November after much opposition from her late father.

Countess Ina Marie von Bassewitz was a maid of honor to Queen Augusta Victoria of Prussia when she caught the eye of Prince Oskar.  Their marriage was originally morganatic as Ina Marie was not royal, but the family eventually relented and in 1920 she was given the title of "Princess of Prussia" and addressed as "Royal Highness".  Here are three of their four children.

,Princess Elena Vadimirovna, a Russian Archduchess and granddaughter of Tsar Alexander II married her cousin Prince Nicholas of Greece and Denmark.   Elena and Nicholas had three daughters and a very happy marriage although you wouldn't think so to look at the expressions on these faces.
