Happy motivation Monday . It's a new week in the beginning of a new month. There's no better time to get moving and make a positive change in your life.  Persistence will get you there but consistent effort will keep you there.   What are your goals for the week?

Do you agree?  There's lots of research out there reporting that we become like the 6 people we are closest to. That means if you hang out with people who are overweight, make unhealthy choices or whatever else you will do the same.  So, go out and find some healthy friends. You will be surprised how just a few small changes to your support system will help you be happier and healthier.

It's cardio day!!!!  I gotta admit that I prefer weight lifting over cardio but it's about balance and I know how necessary a well rounded routine is. To be honest, #cize is the only cardio routine I seem to look forward to now . #turbofire makes me happy,  too, but doesn't make me smile while I sweat. It's a bit more intense

I have a new support group starting soon that will give you the kick in the butt you need. Message me.   This online challenge group begins soon and is designed to help you re-establish a routine to help you live a happy, healthy lifestyle. We'll be focusing nutrition and fitness and HABITS. You'll have EVERYTHING you need to be successful!

The group will be led by me, a certified 21 Day Sugar Detox coach and Family Nurse Practitioner. We will be accountable to each other as we strengthen our healthy habits. Your mental self has a huge impact on your physical self!  When things aren't going the way you wanted or hoped they would go it's time to take massive action.   Awareness trumps everything :Listen to what you say to yourself each day. Are you saying negative things about your mind or body?  If so, change your language when you hear it.   Forgive yourself and then say a positive statement that is kind and encouraging.

I love how happy eating well and getting exercise has made me feel. Today I turned 42 but I feel and look better than I did in my 30s. I am so thankful that I found some tools that I love and people who inspire me to keep getting better.
