Here are some of my male canaries. They sing beautifully. (Good for Martha! She has taken in alot of pets, all different kinds. I wish more people would do that. It would help eradicate the fullness of pet shelters).

My mom had yellow canaries - first one name Petey, he didn't sing. My dad brought home a second one for a companion bird. My mom raised two baby canaries from her pair. No wonder I love yellow birds!

What they eat affects their pigmentation, so they are fed foods like carrots, oranges, and berries to keep them bright.
