Sir Peter Blake has been commissioned to create an artwork to celebrate 800 years of the Lord Mayor’s Show. The pop artist, 83, has produced a collage that pays tribute to the history of the pageant, which dates back to 1215.  The piece blends images from sources such as artworks, newspapers, photographs and social media, and includes characters from knights to clowns.
