Inference through pictures - What a great idea…find a good picture, glue it on a large piece of construction paper and post on the board/wall. Kids can write inferences about the picture throughout the day…then discuss. Love this!

These are posters that are created through examples given by the students in the classroom. This is an activity that will help students associate these phoneme pairs with words in their everyday vocabulary. It is a fun way to get children to actively participate in phonics instruction! Guided Reading "cheat sheet" on what to do before, during, and after a guided reading lesson

This is a "cheat Sheet" to help all teachers in grades 1 - 5 remember what to do before/during/after reading during a Guided Reading Lesson. I have a feeling we all prob do these already, but worth looking at.

Scrabble Recording Sheet With Tiles- Daily 5 Word Work; I'll use this as a warm-up. Just use Spanish characters & have students use Spanish words! I could also put actual tiles on the elmo projector or on each table. It would move a lot faster than a full game, and would encourage 100% participation.
