William captured the flight of a tiny hummingbird in this wonderful black and white nature shot. Between the sharp focus of the foreground plants, the hint of movement of the bird’s wings, and the gloriously blurred background, this is an excellent example of what wildlife photography should be! Well done William!
Scotland-based photographer Chris Morgan captured this remarkable macro shot of a hummingbird while visiting Bosque De Paz Nature Reserve in Costa Rica. In case you were wondering: Yes, that is Morgan's reflection in the hummingbird's eye.
Photo @pedromcbride // Small but mighty. I always feel fortunate to catch a glimpse of these bold creatures. One of the fastest birds in the world, the tiny Anna’s hummingbird sleeps in a nest roughly the size of a walnut and has eggs the size of jelly beans. This one slowed down just long enough from its nectar feast for me to get the shot. #nature #gratitude
