The Oregon Ducks wore football uniforms with special pink accents in their recent game against Washington State. The team wanted to show its support for breast cancer research during October's breast cancer awareness month. It is interesting to see a major sports team use their games for more than just sport, to help out others in some way. This may lead other teams to raise money for other causes. -Gordon S.
