The house is built on a slightly elevated part of the property, which helps give it stature. To avoid a monumental look, architect John Krasnodebski introduced subtle banding at the base of each of the two main floors.
Donaghy + Dimond Architects are RIAI Conservation Accredited at Grade III. The practice has won awards for conservation of historic structures and further awards.
