Papua New Guinea - Although English is its official language, only of the population actually speak it. As the most linguistically diverse country in the world, over 820 languages are spoken in Papua New Guinea or of the world’s total.

Dusky Lory - The dusky lory is endemic to Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. It is the only species of parrot of the genus Pseudeos. Dusky lories have a greater talking potential than other, similar-size parrots, but their difficult diet and eating schedules are the reason most people do not keep them as pets. The Dusky Lory (Pseudeos fuscata) is a monotypic species of parrot in the Psittaculidae family. Alternative common names are the White-rumped Lory or the Dusky-orange Lory. It is found in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.
