High Protein Whole Wheat Waffles - Recipe: 2 1/4 c whole wheat flour, 1 1/4 tsp baking powder, 1 1/4 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp salt, 1 tbsp protein powder (opt.), 3 tbs sugar (opt.). Stir together. Add in 2 eggs (beaten), 1 cup milk, 1 cup yogurt, 1 tsp apple cider vinegar, 1/2 c butter (or oil), 1 tsp vanilla. Mix all together until blended. Batter will be thick but if not fully blended add a splash of milk. Cook in your preheated waffle iron as usual.
