This is the culmination of ten years trying to get all the pieces to come together. last Christmas my wife suggested we try one more time... I'm very glad I listen to her!!! This is the round church in Richmond Vermont. Taken a few days after Christmas in which a storm had passed through and deposited all this snow and the Christmas tree was all lit up and it was dusk and just wonderful... I'm guessing Santa thought I was a good boy this year and this was my present!

This is a canvas textured digital painting of an old, weathered and abandoned boat dock. This dock and seafood outlet were once vital parts of a thriving coastal community along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. It was a busy place where shrimpers would park their wooden hull trawlers along the pier, tied to pilings and offload their catch. Today, it sits as another nostalgic reminder of a bygone er, the vestiges of which are quickly disappearing.
