The Dollmaker by Harriette Arnow was a reading assignment when I was in college. I got it today for my kindle fire because I remember what an amazing book it was. I am looking forward to reading it again now that I am 35 years older.
Amazing memoir from a Holocaust survivor with a beautiful twist at the end! Gerda Weissman Klein epitomizes the survivor. I heard her speak a few years back and she was just awe-inspiring to listen to. I will have to read this.
