The Woman In White by Wilkie Collins: I highly recommend this large tome. It's worth your time. I love a mystery that I am unable to unravel until the author allows. And this kept me rapt until the last.

Charming book. A 90+ yr old woman tells a history student her story of surviving the London Blitz as a child. Beautifully written. Very vivid story of how the Blitz looked to a child who had to grow up very fast and who in losing everything also gained so much. Quick read
