There's a differece between hating someone for their gender, skin color, who they live, where they're from, etc. and hating someone because they don't think you deserve basic human rights. One of them is an abuser, the other is fighting abuse. These are not equal levels of hatred, and the one that hates the abuser is not in doing so just as bad as the abuser. Fighting for your rights is not oppressing your oppressor.
