Nell Gwynn by Verelst, National Portrait Gallery London - Member of the "Charles II's Mistresses Club" the portraits of which could fill it's own gallery. Fortunately for is, Charles II had them painted, often, by the leading painters of the day including Lely & Mignard.
Lady Elizabeth Montagu (b.1668/1669) by Godfrey Kneller---She is known as the Queen of the Bluestockings. None other than Dr Johnson said she was among the most interesting conversationalists he ever met-man or woman. That's good enough for me.
