Mountain Home. It looks a lot like my in-laws home in Big Cottonwood Canyon. Their fireplace was built by the same artisan that did the fireplace in the entry at the Stein Eriksen Lodge in Deer Valley. It went all of the way up the wall, two stories tall, of stone from the canyon. Granite mostly.....beautiful. I miss it. Jimmy and I loved it up there. May he rest in peace. <3

Cabinets with differing heights and finishes suggest the kitchen evolved over time, which is what drew the homeowners to the country French style. By scouring antiques shops and thrift stores, the homeowners collected old doors, shutters, and the plaster piece that now takes center stage on the range hood.
Open-Shelf Storage Boost storage and display space in a kitchen by capping off a run of cabinets with open shelves. These shelves face the adjoining breakfast room and offer a convenient spot for storing cookbooks without weighing down the kitchen with closed-off cabinets. The open shelving unit provides plenty of storage space without weighing down the kitchen with more closed cabinet fronts.
