This quote alone sparked an interest inside of me to learn more about F. Scott Fitzgerald. A classic, tragic figure. Many of his books were modeled after his own extravagant, yet empty life (The Beautiful and the Damned, The Great Gatsby...). I'm currently reading The Beautiful and The Damned, and it is great so far.
